SHE/HER

Therapist

The work I do with clients is centered around helping them get in touch with their emotions and seek the most confident and contented version of themselves.

The majority of the individuals that I work with are individuals in their twenties and thirties who are ready to take control of the challenges in their lives, from confidence, relationships, marriage, polyamory, anxiety, men’s issues, body image, LGBTQIA+ issues, sex and sexuality. I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for individuals of all backgrounds or identities, from culture and sexual orientation to gender identity.

I received my degree in Social Work from Columbia University and am licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. I’m also certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples in Crisis (EFT), an intervention that focuses on each partner's emotions in order to prevent negative cycles of anger, blame, criticism, or silence, before they begin.

“Don’t let yourself be the person standing in front of your own happiness”

My therapeutic style is casual, and I hope to engage everyone I work with in honest, open, yet challenging conversation. I strive to create a non-judgmental environment to assist clients in tapping into any thought, fear, insecurity or desire, often helping them to push their comfort boundaries. My strenghts-based approach encourages my clients to be solution-focused and practice mindfulness. Most of the people I work with struggle to express their challenges with body image, relationships, sex/sexuality and more, and they often put up walls to avoid how these challenges impact them emotionally. I find that my clients need to learn how to love themselves in order to get in touch with their emotions, be vulnerable in their relationships, and even be productive in therapy. My goal is to help those I work with becoming more accepting and loving of themselves as a whole.
